Church Planting Ministry
The country of Kenya has a major seaport in Mombasa in which shipments from around the world enter and their cargo is transferred throughout East Africa by truck. The major route through the country is the Mombasa to Uganda highway The continued growth of commerce along this highway is creating growth in the existing towns & cities as well as the outcropping of many new village communities. People are migrating from all over the country to find work along the highway. Along with the population growth along the highway comes many unfortunate issues including crime, drugs, prostitution, and other social problems. This highway needs King Jesus to turn it into the “King’s Highway”! Fred’s vision is a 15-year project of planting 200 churches along the highway. The strategy is to begin with 25 key “anchor” churches along the route and raise up the others through them. It’s not about building buildings, but it’s about reaching, baptizing, discipling and releasing “equipped” believers to expand the kingdom of God. As these churches develop their membership. an additional goal is for them to be centers of assistance to the poor, the sick, and the hungry. Fred & Eunice envision feeding centers as well as training centers to teach modest job skills for those needing employment.
